Our newly formed year 5/6 netball team participated in their very first netball tournament this week. This was their first competitive experience, and they played against several other local primary schools. Our team made some great interceptions and strong passes, displaying remarkable skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the event. Even in matches they didn't win, their spirit and determination shone brightly.

The team has only had a total of four hours training together, so it was wonderful to see their confidence grow throughout the tournament. We couldn't be prouder of our team for their outstanding performance and the way they represented our school. A big thank you goes to Mrs Chadwick for her coaching support and guidance. Mrs Chadwick is determined to develop the netball teams at Preston and was very proud of the team this week. This tournament has undoubtedly set the stage for many more opportunities in the future. Well done, team!
