Dear Parents and Carers

Thank you so much for coming to our special Mother’s Day assembly on Monday, the children really enjoyed sharing their thoughts and love with you. We will be putting a speech bubble for their assembly in their red books, please fill it in, telling your child what you thought of their assembly.

For the rest of the week we have been linking our learning to the story of ‘Stickman’. We have been making our own stickmen, writing our own story, and in maths developing our mastery of addition using the stickman family.

Ideas for supporting your child’s learning at home this week.

• Explore all the pairs that make the number 4. E.g. 1 + 3/ 2 + 2/ 3 + 1 – Can they draw pictures of them?
