Explorer Dome visits Unit 3

The children of Unit 3 greatly enjoyed their visit from the Explorer Dome yesterday. This interactive show (in a mobile, blow up planetarium!) took children on a journey to some of our planet’s most extreme environments to learn about how and why life can thrive anywhere on Earth. By learning about what life needs in order to thrive, we have started to answer the question, “Why is planet Earth unique?” and we have begun our comparison of the planets. The children were excellent ambassadors for Preston Primary School and showed respect throughout the visit.
