'People Who Help Us'
In preparation for our learning enquiry after Christmas, ’People Who Help Us’, the children in Foundation enjoyed a visit from two Vets this morning. They talked about their role as Vets and our responsibility to care for animals. The children spoke about how they look after the school animals, and they used a stethoscope to listen to the guinea pig’s heartbeat. One of our school's aims is to prepare children to be ‘Ready for Work’. It is important for children to have the confidence and knowledge to explore different career opportunities. Many of the children were inspired by the visit and are now talking about being Vets when they are older.
