Unit 3 Kent's Cavern Trip

'What was Torbay like during the Stone Age?'

On Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th July, Unit 3 visited Kent’s Cavern as part of their History Short Enquiry: 'What was Torbay like during the Stone Age?'. Children had a fantastic time exploring the caves and artefacts whilst thinking like historians. The children explored their own lines of enquiry and asked their own questions about Stone Age Torbay and throughout the day found many answers. Evelyn described the day as, ‘The best day ever, it was exciting and so interesting’. Both groups were excellent ambassadors of our school and demonstrated our values brilliantly throughout the day. The guides at Kent’s Cavern were very complimentary of the children’s behaviour and enjoyed having us. Well done Unit 3!
