Unit 4 Geography Walk

This week, Unit 4 visited Preston Beach to support their learning in their Geogrpahy short enquiry. The children worked in groups to observe the erosion which is happening at Preston Beach. They then worked together to create solutions to prevent erosion in the future by using their prior knowledge of the sea defences we have learnt about. We discussed the sea defences that are being put in place by Torbay Council and how they will help. The children showed great teamwork and were very respectful to members of the public. This trip supported the children’s learning and created a love of learning around all areas of the curriculum. Well done Unit 4!
