Yesterday, Puffins and Penguins attended a Sports Festival at Paignton Academy. For some children it was the first time they had visited the venue; they were amazed at the enormity of the sports hub. The children took part in a carousel of activities run by Sports Leaders from the Academy. Some of their favourite activities were skittle alley, obstacle race, and they particularly enjoyed the penalty shoot out with the teachers in goal! It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces. Puffins and Penguins showed great teamwork, determination, respect and responsibility. They thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and learnt many new skills. Thank you to Paignton Academy for hosting such a wonderful event and enabling a love of learning.
