On Friday 10^th May, our Digital Leaders were invited to a Digital Leader Day at South Devon College. It was a superb chance for our children to explore what opportunities technology can give them in their future careers, supporting them in being ‘Ready for Work’.

Thanks to South Devon College, our Digital Leaders were introduced to some incredibly exciting career paths that they can take, including Tech Engineer, eSportsperson, and Engineers in Photonics. Children were particularly impressed by the Photonics workshops where they learnt that Torbay is one of the leaders in the field of photonics worldwide.

Staff at South Devon College were so impressed by our children, and commented on their Respect, Determination, and Teamwork. It is always lovely to hear professionals from outside of school comment on how brilliant our children are as ambassadors to our fantastic school.

With what the children learnt on this amazing trip, our Digital Leaders were inspired to spearhead the use of technology in school and inspire other children with what they have learnt.
