Yesterday, children in Key Stage 2 were given the opportunity to practise their cricket skills. Niall Leahy, a South Devon club and community cricket coach, spent time with each class developing the children’s knowledge and confidence in cricket. Despite the weather, the children enjoyed playing games and taking turns to bat, bowl, and field. The weather did not dampen their enthusiasm. The children demonstrated a love of learning and lots of determination to learn new skills.
