This week, we had an amazing surprise in the post – a message from the popular author, David Walliams, with three signed books and a note to all at Preston Primary! Thank you to one of our Preston parents, Debbie Sayce, for organising this special gift in memory of our wonderful Mrs Clague.

At Preston, we aim to create a community of readers with the skills to become independent and reflective thinkers and learners, both at school and for life. We aim to inspire children with a lifelong love of books and reading. Reading for Pleasure benefits children throughout their education and beyond; it allows them to experience other worlds and roles in their imagination. Developing a love of books and reading is at the heart of everything we do.
