Today, the children of Unit 3 were pleased to welcome Reverend Ruth to come and talk to us about what we have been learning in RE lessons. She told us several of the stories from the Gospels that taught us how Jesus wanted the world to be. 

Reverend Ruth also spoke to us about how she had become a Minister at St Paul’s Church in Preston. Unit 3 asked some interesting questions which were quite challenging, but Reverend Ruth answered them all, and we learned lots from our afternoon together. The children of Unit 3 would like to say a great big, ‘Thank you!’ to Reverend Ruth for helping us with our learning.

Unit 3 have also been learning about the British Value of Tolerance, and linking this to our School Value of Respect, because it is a key skill for life in Britain.
