The children in Unit 3 enjoyed a virtual author visit with Hamza Yassin this week. It was brilliant and intriguing to find out more facts about wildlife, and linked well to our school aim of being ready to work as he showed us different kinds of careers, including wildlife photographer.

Hamza has recently released a new book called ‘Hamza’s wild world’, which sounds brilliant, and children enjoyed listening to the stories behind the book. Some have been inspired to start writing their own book, showing a real love of learning.

Hamza shared his life and adventures with the children, and they enjoyed joining in with the interactive quizzes. Hamza’s presentation sparked a buzz within the classrooms and many of us were inspired to have a go at our own research and writing.
