Children in Unit 4 have been incredibly determined to learn how to play the recorders in their Music Long Enquiry this half term. The children have learnt about the pulse and tempo of music and have learnt what a melody is. The children used their school values of Creativity and Teamwork to plan, practise and show their performance of ‘Old MacDonald Had a Farm’, combining their practical knowledge of playing the song on the recorder, and singing to create an engaging performance for their audience – their parents. Unit 4 have continued to show their school aim - ‘Love to Learn’ - throughout their Music Long Enquiry, where they have taken great pleasure in developing their musical skills, and some have even continued to practise their new learning at home.
