Each year, our Year 6 children are given the opportunity to achieve the Torbay and Devon Civic Award. This week, they were presented with their Civic Award certificates at St Cuthbert Mayne School. As it was the 20^th anniversary of the award, the children also received a special medal for their work.

The children have worked so hard to complete the different sections of the award including, active citizenship in school and the local community; an active and non-active hobby; and a pledge to the planet.

The assessors were so impressed with the children’s commitment and their presentation of their work. The children have clearly demonstrated their School Values of Respect and Independence. Well done!
