Ready for Work

This half term, the school value we are explicitly teaching is Creativity. Creativity is about having a picture in your head of something you want to create, and you try your best to make it happen. We will teach children to use their imagination in different situations, generate and experiment with ideas, and learn to use others to support the creative process. In our assemblies we will be linking creativity to the British Value of ‘Individual Liberty’ as it is important to allow individuals to express themselves, make choices, and to take risks. We will talk to the children about how creativity is an essential skill for the future, which relates to our school aim of ‘Ready for Work.’
