September Pupil Admissions
We are delighted that you are considering joining our school family and we would like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome you to Preston Primary. We are really looking forward to working in partnership with you to ensure that your child has the best possible start to their primary education.
We offer school tours of the Early Years Foundation Stage every Autumn term. We are always excited to invite people to visit our friendly, calm and inclusive school.
New Autumn tour dates will be published here each year with details how to book.
If you are applying for a reception class place starting in September you will need to contact Torbay Council Admissions who are the local admissions authority. They will ask you complete an application form by a specific date in January (check Torbay Council Admissions page to confirm deadline date). If you are allocated a space at Preston Primary they will notify us and yourselves in April and we will begin the exciting transition process.
General Pupil Admissions
If you are interested in joining Preston Primary at any other time of year or in any other year group please contact Torbay Council Admissions to enquire about current year group spaces. If you are successful, they will ask you to contact the school, and we will arrange a tour, a starting date, and begin to plan an appropriate transition programme with you.
