Teamwork

Ready for Work
This half term, the school value we are explicitly teaching is Teamwork. We will teach children how to make a positive contribution to group discussions and tasks by showing good speaking and listening skills, how to be supportive and motivate others, and the importance of understanding how to compromise. In our assemblies, we will be linking teamwork to the British Value of ‘Mutual Respect’ by teaching children about the importance of being kind, polite, and celebrating our differences when sharing and listening to others’ opinions and views. We will talk to the children about how teamwork is an essential skill for their future, which relates to our school aim of ‘Ready for Work.’
